Growing up on the Georgia coast, Lynn was accustomed to a small beach town lifestyle. The beach was a place where you could hop on your bike and not worry about the “busyness” of the day-to-day. David and Lynn spent many years exploring coastal towns from Virginia, North and South Carolina, Florida, Alabama and even California. Living in metro-Atlanta, they were on the hunt to find a quiet getaway. A longtime writer for the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Celestine Sibley, occasionally wrote of her travels to her second home on Dog Island in the Gulf of Mexico. David and Lynn were intrigued, and thus discovered St. George Island.
When they aren’t on the island working on the houses, you will find them in Atlanta running their small business, working in the yard, beekeeping, or goofing off with their three grandkids.
